The Triabuddies program culminates at the season-finale Ironman event, where the kids take their turn supporting their athlete mentors on the 140-mile racecourse. The team building and celebration goes on throughout the weekend, as hundreds of fans from the Insulindependence community gather to witness triumph in the face of adversity.

This season's Ironman Weekend will take place in St. George, Utah. Insulindependence will be sponsoring activities and hospitality areas throughout the weekend to accommodate the Triabetes athletes, Triabuddies, family members, volunteers and team supporters.

Triabuddies families will receive VIP invitations to the Triabetes Awards Reception on Friday afternoon, where the kids and athletes will be honored for their inspirational work in the diabetes community.

The Triabetes athletes will need help from their Triabuddies on race day! Each of the kids will help track their mentor's progress throughout the day, and even run with them on the course.
